Our Pack Meeting is a chance to learn about the principles of scouting, complete rank advancement activities, and play with other scouts.

We also plan a special activity each month for scouts to bring their friends and families. Things like:

At the end of each summer, we gear up and head out to participate in one of the big trips below. It’s a great way to kick off the new scouting year and participate in some truly special events!

Space Camp

Spend a weekend at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL running missions, exploring the history of space travel, and training like real astronauts.

U.S.S. Yorktown

Operation Overnight aboard the USS Yorktown on Charleston Harbor is a great way to see historic naval aircraft, ships, and sleep aboard just like Navy sailors.

Georgia Aquarium

Spend an exciting night taking behind-the-scenes tours and unrolling your sleeping bag right in front of one the aquariums many exhibits.

Since 1965

We’ve been around for nearly 60 years and are proud to be chartered through Northwest Presbyterian Church in the Chastain Park neighborhood of Atlanta.

Our pack welcomes boys and girls of all backgrounds, faiths, and schools to join in the fun that the Cub Scout program has to offer.

Each year dozens of scouts, families, and friends come together for activities that keep us moving and learning about our world and the great outdoors.

 Common Questions

  • A Pack describes our large group of all scouts in Kindergarten through 5th grade, as well as our adult leaders and volunteers. We’re Pack 232!

A Den is a smaller group of scouts within the Pack who are all about the same age and in the same grade. Dens work on their age-appropriate rank advancement activities together at Pack meetings and outside adventures.

A Troop is a large group of scouts ages 11 - 17. We are closely affiliated with Troop 232 and many of our Cub Scout join the Troop in 5th grade each year!

  • The yearly cost paid to Scouting America is $85, with an additional $35 due to the pack each year to fund various activities like the pinewood derby and materials for our pack meetings.

Optional additional costs for uniforms or special activities may also come about as you and your scout choose to participate.

    Cost of Cub Scouting

  • Cub scouts have a lot to work on to earn their ranks each year, with activities specifically planned for each age group as appropriate.

For a preview of the rank/age-based activities, take a look at the adventures outlined at the scout website.

    Cub Scout Adventures

  • Parents and guardians are important to a well-run pack and a great program for scouts!

In addition to volunteers who serve formal leadership roles, we rely on adults that can guide their scout’s attention and participation in each activity, learning the principles of scouting alongside them.

We can always use your help planning or running an activity, or even just helping wrangle a group of enthusiastic scouts!
